What standards do you set for your workwear? What could Tech Zone improve on? T I t has to be durable, comfortable and roomy. It has to have all the pockets I need. here is extra Velcro on the knee pads so they stay in place when you kneel down. And Tech Zone workwear is extremely comfortable to wear. Even on your knees. The knees are usually the part of my trousers that wear out first. The thigh pocket is also larger so there is space for keys and a mobile phone, even a smartphone, which I didn’t have space for in the old workwear. I think they have picked up on all the points I had concerning trousers. So I can’t really see how they could improve them even more. They are just great trousers. One of the places where other trousers wear out first is on the side pocket on the leg where you keep your screwdriver. Engel have reinforced the side pocket with the same fabric as on the knees so it won’t be the first place to get torn. If you were to recommend Tech Zone to other tradesmen, what would you say? Does the Tech Zone collection meet your needs? How does Tech Zone workwear compare to other brands? I just think these are terrific trousers from start to finish. All the small details, such as the ID-card holder with Velcro, which you can place wherever you like. It’s a great idea because we are often called out to companies, which require us to carry an ID-card. The design is smart and you can see that Tech Zone features the things that we electricians at least have been wanting for a long time. T he collection meets all my needs. The old workwear trousers had narrow holster pockets. They caused me problems. Every time I got into my car, all my tools fell out. They have now made the pockets wider and there are more inserts. And now there is enough space for an electric screwdriver in the button strap on the outside of the pockets, or you can have long-nose pliers or something like that in it too. They are very flexible in use. I have worn Tech Zone for work and a lot of people have asked where I got the trousers. People think they are a great design with a highly functional fit. We usually wear a different brand and there’s no doubt in my mind that the old brand will lie at home in the wardrobe collecting dust from now on. What they’ve done with Tech Zone is really good.
